I'm thrilled to have two poems included in this beautifully-illustrated anthology. "Mermaid's Luggage" was inspired by the skates' egg cases left behind on my beloved hometown beaches.
I wrote "Bioluminescent Salutations" after noticing flickering, neon green waves rolling in at night on a Florida barrier beach.
